How do I report a problem?
Describe what happened in the Steam forums or Tyr Discord. Include any error messages and when the problem occurred.
If you are sending logs, use the upload form below and include the reference number in your post so the team can find them.
Where can I find my Tyr logs?
Close Tyr so the latest log finishes writing. On Windows, press Windows + R, paste %LOCALAPPDATA%\Tyr\Saved\Logs, and press Enter.
Select the .log files from around the time of the issue, then upload them using the form below.
What do I do after uploading my logs?
Copy the reference number shown after your upload and include it in your Steam forum or Discord report. It lets the Tyr team match your report to your logs. Keep the number until your issue has been resolved.
Can I buy tanks with Gold or real money?
No. Tanks are unlocked using SLVR and XP, not Gold or real money. You can test every tank in the Sandbox before purchasing it with SLVR.
I’m getting “Failed to log in to Steam.” What should I do?
- Fully restart Tyr and Steam.
- If that does not work, restart your computer and router.
- If you’re on Linux or Steam Deck, switch to Proton Experimental. A recent Steam SDK update caused login problems with other Proton versions.
- If you’re connecting from Russia, Tyr is not intentionally blocking Russian players. Players have reported success using a VPN with Game Filter: enabled (UDP) and IPSet Filter: any.
- If the problem continues, submit your logs below and share the reference number it spits out with us on Discord or Steam.
Why does my match get stuck at 15/16 players?
This means one player failed to connect. Tyr cancels the match and returns everyone to the lobby rather than starting an uneven match. Queue again to retry. If it happens repeatedly, submit logs and let us know.
Will my progression be wiped?
No progression wipe is currently planned, including for the eventual 1.0 release.
